It's amazing. Yuo have to love it. There's a lot of metaphors, and emotional damage, and character development. You can swear you're there, they're like real people. It's wonderful.

The story is about her getting raped, the main character, and then, because she got raped at a party and called the police, peple got arrested for throwing such a mess, and now people hate her for ratting so many out. She becomes quiet and does terribly in her first year of high school, failing most of her classes. There's a lot of sarcastic humour, like 'Ten lies they tell you in High School: One, we are here to help you'. It's a It's a really good book. Pick it uo rom the library. You don't really know she gets raped until like, more than halfway through the book.[/spoiler]
Anyway, you should all go. It's wonderful. Real emotions, real descriptions, and it's not badly written at all. Pure and true and funny and honest and raw. Read it.

I'm planning on reading it soon. My sister read it and really loved it. She showed me an excerpt and I was cracking up. It was the part titled "code breaking." That's a teacher of mine to a T. lol =) I watched the movie with Kristen Stewart in it last night and loved it, so I'm thinking it's time to read the whole book. ^_^
I don't care what anyone says. The "mystery" was painfully obvious, and I will continue to not love this book. Sorry to be such a downer. I don't like Picoult, either. Rebel, that's me.
