The Tiny Heart’s Story.

There once lived a Tiny Heart, as tiny as tiny can be.
Hidden amidst the crowd, she was often hard to see.

She had many Hearts, who were her friends, with her.
And they all seemed to be very nice and good to her.

She thought her sorrows they knew, and her worries too.
Little did she know, that she was judging too soon.

The Tiny Heart had a friend called Big Heart, too.
How much he cared, the Tiny Heart had no clue.

One fine day, as the Tiny Heart was with her friends,
One of them came up to her, and said,

“Look at you Tiny, you are so tiny and timid,
How could you ever imagine that our friend you could be?”

A Tiny tear trickled down her cheek,
As she heard her friends laugh and speak.

Late that night, the Tiny Heart laid up in bed and thought,
“How foolish of me to have thought, I was alone not”

The Tiny Heart wept all night, and didn’t sleep at all,
When suddenly she heard her name someone call.

Looking around she found Big Heart, whom she liked not at all.
But tonight he had come only to rescue her from a fall.

“I am with you, Tiny, rain or shine.
On my shoulder, all night you can cry.”

As the Tiny Heart fell asleep after weeping for long,
Big Heart held her tight, and sang a Tiny song.

“Weep not ever again you will, dear Tiny.
Because, now you are mine, after years of crying.”

I don't care what anyone else says about the rhyming and the Her-her thing, it was amazing and precious. It was something that you can only write with true emotion. It was well thought out, and from the heart.
People can either connect, or not connect but it all was the same.. It was precious and beautiful and.. AH! It was just a wel written poem that could only be from the heart.
I liked it a lot, and wish you the best of luck.

This was beautiful!! I force rhymes all the time.. I'm not very good at rhyming stuff! I am a free verse person!
The fact that anyone can write rhymed poems almost or as great as yours is a wonder to me!

There once lived a Tiny Heart, as tiny as tiny can be.
Hidden amidst the crowd, she was often hard to see.

She had many Hearts, who were her friends, with her.
And they all seemed to be very nice and good to her. #FF0000 ">Her and her. If you want this to work, change one line to make it rhyme.

She thought her sorrows they knew, and her worries too.
Little did she know, that she was judging too soon.

The Tiny Heart had a friend called Big Heart, too.
How much he cared, the Tiny Heart had no clue.

One fine day, as the Tiny Heart was with her friends,

“Look at you Tiny, you are so tiny and timid,
How could you ever imagine that our friend you could be?”

A Tiny tear trickled down her cheek,
As she heard her friends laugh and speak. #FF0000 ">I don't know about "speak". Maybe choose a harsher word.

Late that night, the Tiny Heart laid up in bed and thought,
“How foolish of me to have thought, I was alone not” #FF0000 ">This here was forced. I would say change it.

Tiny Heart wept all night, and didn’t sleep at all,
When suddenly she heard her name someone call. #FF0000 ">This was also forced. You just swapped some words around to try and make it rhyme.

Looking around she found Big Heart, whom she liked not at all.

I liked this poem. It was a nice narration. However you forced some rhymes, which are quite obvious as I have pointed out. Other than that, good work!

Russets and tangerine shades of old gold flushing the very outside edge of the senses ... deep shining ochres, burnt umber and parchments of baked earth—reflecting on itself and through itself, filtering the light.
