id like the memory of me
to be a happy one
id like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done
id like to leave an echo
wishpering softly down the way
of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days
id like tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
of happy memories that i leaves
when life is done

hey good poem. i think it could use some more punctuation tho it would help it flow a little better. :)

This poem was fantastic, I really liked it, you did such a good job. I loved the way everything seemed to flow together and rhyme. You did good and I'm sure your grandfather would have loved this.

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the way
of happy times,
laughing times,
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like to see the tears of those who grieve,
dry before the sun,
because of happy memories that i leave,
when life is done.

thanks for all the help this is for my great grand pa who i love very very much

I like this poem, it seems deep to me and I like deep poems. It's well written too, which adds on nice quality. I think you've got potential

Keep writing!
