Big Black Wall

When your parents break up, a small black wall starts to form
When your older sister moves away, the black wall starts to grow a couple inches taller.
Working the day your dad moves away, the black wall starts to grow taller.

Leaving you with your mother and her boyfriend.
They dont notice you, They dont see you, They dont hear you.
No one to talk to, No one to go to. The big black wall is infront of me, and blocking my way to the future.

Going to the therapiest, she doesn't have the key to go through my gate of eyes.
Stuck behind the big black wall, listening to my family, going on with their lives and choosing their futures.
Am I the only one who remembers and wants the past back?

Am I crazy?
It's the damn black wall that's blocking them from what I see, and remember.
If only they could get the key for the lock of my eyes, so they could understand what I see.
All they see is a girl.

Everyday I'm behind the Big Black Wall.

Hey Adara,

Cool poem, I understand what you mean. I can see a few things to fix though. For example in line 7, you spell the word therapist incorrectly. Easy mistake and not a big deal, but should probably be fixed anyway. Something else I might do to this poem is break it up into stanzas. I know, kind of a short poem to do that with, but I think the reader would get a lot more out of it if you did that. And even if you didn't want to do that you could put a space between the rest of the poem and the last line, I think that would make it look cool. Anyway, great poem and keep writing. Thanks!

hey thanks, yeah ill fix that spelling error asap, and what do you mean? jus have it in a paragraph form and have the last line separate from the rest?
