Hello there, Sparkle! My name's Rosie, and I'm here to review this!
Overall, this is a cute piece. It's rather too simple for my liking, though. I've read dozens of poems that resemble this one, and that's never a good thing. There always has to be something that sets your work apart from everyone else's; whether that element is prominent or mediocre isn't as important, but it still has to exist. I read this, and I couldn't find anything special. So, in further works, I'd consider thinking about how to make your work unique. I'm sure you're a unique person (most writers I know are), so all you need to do is find a way to reflect that uniqueness in your work, and you'll be all set.
I do adore one part of this, though, the stanza with the little detail about the "peachy light." It had a wonderfully calming flow to it, and I wish the entire poem was more like it. Great job there.
All in all, cute piece! I'm looking forward to reading more from you. Always keep writing!
Best wishes,
Rosie
Sorry, I didn't mean to put this up. It was my first time posting.
