The one thing in writing and in my speech that I pride myself on is my way to make anything seem logical no matter how unbelievable. For speech class, we had to do mock debates on topics of our choice. I chose this topic so I could take the opposite side of what I believe and make it logical. The sad part was that it worked...

I believe that Rap music is the cause of all of the world's problems. Literally every issue the world has can be traced to Tap music. Its influences on people cause nothing but immoral behavior and bad decision making. It should be ashamed of itself.
the rise in gas prices, for example, is all Rap music's fault. Rappers sometimes talk of riding around in their big cars: cars that guzzle gas like crazy. Due to Rap music's influence on people, many listeners will go out and buy big cars like a Hummer. With so many cars out there with a large need for gas, gas would eventually become scarce. Because of the "supply and demand" ideal, gas prices go up. Therefore Rap is responsible for the outrageous gas prices.
Another example is Rap music's negative effect of world hunger. Rap lyrics suggest to listeners that everything is better in excess. That includes food. customers are told to get money in the form of cheese, cabbage, cream, and all sorts of edible products. So after people get the required money they go and buy this food in excess. This leaves no food for the starving children in Africa. That means that rappers hate Africa and all the hungry people in it.
One of the most evident example of Rap music's evil ideals on society are they amount of people in jail. For some reason the new slogan for Rap music is "Get Money." The artist (if you can even call it art) never specifies how, when, why, or even what to do wit said money. As a result of this vague slogan, many crimes happn. People end up selling drugs, becoming prostitutes, and robbing old ladies in the streets. The police who are doing their jobs lock up these nieve, confused criminals all over some unclear Rap lyrics.
As you can see, Rap music has only bad things to offer our civilization. All that I have pointed out to you and more are all Rap music's fault. Including global warming, the war in Iraq, deforestation, and homelessness. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time in class to explain all of those.

It certainly is ludacris to believe that these things are true, but if you do read it for what it is, it does make an odd kind of sense. Well done.
Though I do have to suggest that you spell your title properly. This isn't lolcats. The odd spelling almost stopped me from reading it.
You obviously didn't read the introductory note. Either that or you didn't understand it. This is a piece of satire. Of course Rap is not the cause of these things. To believe these things is just ludacris.
What?????!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally disagree. Rap has nothing to do with gas prices, world hunger, or anything else! The government controls these things and mainly tax payers. Rap is music. Just music. It doesn't hypnotize anybody and make them make bad decisions. People determine their fates! My mom hates rap and doesn't listen to it at all and she has a big car. She wanted it and no music told her to do so. I don't know were you got this false information from, but you need to look at it again and restate this.
