Time

Time is the thing that seems to pass us by even when it's standing still.

It has heard the lone wolf's cry from upon both cliff and hill.

Seeing the recurring transition between both sun and moon.

Time has watched generations grow always a new one coming soon.

It is older than the mountain that stands tall above the plain.

Witnessing all of the tears falling from eyes so filled with pain.

Time has been here through all creation, despite water, wind, and flame.

When everything is said and done time we are all the same.

Knight Dragon, here to review on this wonderful Review Day!

Technical:
This poem needs some punctuation. For example, "Time is the thing that seems to pass us by even when it's standing still" could have a period after it, and "Time has heard the lone wolf's cry" to tie it into the next line better. "Seen the transition between the sun and moon" could also use a period.

Content:
Your imagery and concepts are really good. I especially liked the first line, "Time is the thing that seems to pass us by even when it's standing still". That is such a cool paradox. Very cool poem, and keep it up.

Hope this helps! Happy Review Day!

Heyo, a few thoughts that occurred to me;

First, 'between the sun and moon' sounds a bit off to me, possibly because of the missing article for moon. The next sentence is also missing something - the run-on mixing of two sentences, especially as it only happens in this line, comes off a bit awkward, though that might just be the formatting.

I really like the next two lines, especially 'the tears fall from eyes so filled with pain', though I'd have considered 'tears that fall' without the article or 'the tears that fall' - the sentence is missing something there, but I didn't really notice that before I looked closer so I wouldn't worry about it. >_>

Final nitpick: I think the last line would benefit from being 'we are' rather than 'we're'. Sounds more... dramatic, 'epic' in the proper sense of the word. Which is what this poem certainly is.

Hi Dragofriend! I just noticed that you wrote this! Starting my review.......I liked how you described time with sun, moon, wolfs cry, and other stuff. This is a VERY short poem. This will also be a VERY short review! This sort of sounds like....uh....real history, because you said that
Time has witnessed all creation. Everything you said is true...

Hello there, Infinity here to review!

Well firstly, I really like your poem! so most of the things I'd like to suggest to you will probably be minor.

I'll start off by saying the things I liked most about your poem.
I liked the creative thought that went into it and how time sees everything we might miss on a daily basis, how time notices and carries on. Time being essential life and so on.

"To time we're all the same"

This was my favorite part.

However there is always room for improvement so I have some suggestions to make.

"Time is the thing that seems to pass us by even when it's standing still"

Here, the flow is a bit interrupted, I feel as if there's too many words and word choice, especially being the opening line to capture the reader.

You change subjects a lot of comparing time to certain things, which is fine but not everything you're comparing time to is cohesive together.

"Time has heard the lone wolf's cry"

E.g this line is a bit awkward for me, how is time affecting the wolf, it's not really connecting.

"Seen the transition between the sun and moon"

The word "seen" doesn't seem to fit right, perhaps something like, silently viewed.. or something along those lines. I'd like more imagery with this line too.

"Time has watched generations grow always a new one coming soon"

It's the second half of this line that bothers me, the grammar there doesn't make sense, f you read it aloud you can see it.
Maybe, "Time has watched generations grow and new ones coming soon" just a slight change if you don't want to change it too much.

"Time is older than the mountain that stands tall above the plain"

A minor nit pick but here since time is "old" time being wise could work well here.

Overall a great poem, keep writing and well done!
Hope I was of help to you.

Hello! I'm fortis and I'm here to review!

I liked the concept of writing about time this way. I liked almost all of your little statements about time. They're very poetic.
With a little bit of editing this poem could be amazing! There's a few things I think you should change.
With your rhyme scheme, the first two lines don't rhyme, but the third and fourth and the fifth and sixth lines do, then your last two lines don't. It's rather chaotic, and I'd suggest that you change it so that either it rhymes in a set pattern, or it doesn't rhyme at all.
All of your lines start with the word "Time" except for two. Either change those two lines to start with the word "Time" or, even better, change some of the lines to have different beginnings. Diversify!
I don't know what "hearing the lone wolf's cry" really has to do with time. I feel like you put that in there to make it wound poetic. I have the same qualm about "Time has seen the tears fall from eyes so filled with pain." I really like the other lines though. Especially the last line. That's what really sums up this poem for me. The last line really makes it known to me that in time's eyes, we're all just corrodible objects.
I'd also like to see some punctuation in here, because all of your lines are full sentences. You can just put a period on there, really easily. But if you don't want to, you don't have to. It is *your* poetry after all. That's how all of my advice should be taken.

I really liked this! Good job, and keep writing!
