Back story:

BANG! The world around you seems to turn to complete darkness. You run for cover and discover this note.

Go to save haven. You will be safe there.

You wonder where the save haven is when the world erupts around you once again.

Go you idiot! Run!

Says a note that flies though the air and onto your lap. You run till can't go any farther. As you approach a large building the road falls into the ground leaving you on a island with this building. Inside you find 9 other people huddling around each other. You join them a began to survive.

Plot:

The world has turned into a waste land and the only safe place is a office building you had found. You are trapped in there with 9 other people varying in ages and personalities. The building is in Washington DC has a gym at the top and a CVS (Drug store) at the bottom these will be very helpful. How are they helpful that's up to you. Your job is to survive as long as you can. There will be deaths, but only you can determine when your character will die. Do your best.

Rules:

There is romances (no sexual stuff though)

No F- bombs (regular YWSrules)

Don't be rude to other people.

Name: Lily Colton

Gender: female

Where you are from: Scotland

Appearance: Lily has short, dark ginger hair that is always falling in front of her green eyes. She has a sprinkling of freckles across her nose and is often sunburnt. She’s about 5ft 6 and 45kg. She’s lithe and slender from rock-climbing is strong for her stature. She also does archery.
She often wears combats, tank top, hoodies, fingerless gloves and boots and likes to wear scarves to protect the back of her neck from the sun.

Personality: Lily is a wary person who likes to be by herself rather than in a group. She is extremely stubborn when she doesn’t want to do something. She can be very volatile when provoked and has a tendency to insult people and then regret it but is mostly calm. If she doesn’t like someone, she’ll make it known. She has to trust someone before she relies on them, but she’s pretty good at reading people.
She isn’t very good at approaching people and didn’t have very many friends in France. She speaks french fluently and when she’s agitated, she sometimes speaks in french.
She’s good at analysing situations and choosing the safest path, something that she’s gained from rock-climbing.
She also likes writing things down and drawing, a habit that’s come from staying on her own.

History (where you where when the world turned to madness): Lily was born in a small town in Scotland and was the eldest of two children. When she was little, she frequently fought with her little brother and soon found that she preferred to be alone on the cliffs than in the house. When she was six she joined the local rock-climbing club and quickly discovered that she was good at it.
When her family moved to France from Scotland, she was 8. She continued rock-climbing in the Pyrenées. One day, she saw an archery competition and decided to start doing archery too. It took her a long time to make friends at school because she was English and it took her about a year and a half to learn French fluently (that’s realistic). She was bullied for about two years because she was different and that’s why she’s wary.
Before she arrived at the island, Lily was in the south of France, at a intensive climbing camp.

Up for love? (yes or no): yes but it can be difficult to gain her trust, so she's a challenge.

Other: She arrives with a rucksack that contains rock-climbing gear (jacks, hooks, rope, clamps, harness…), fruit bars, a full water bottle and a notepad and pen.

Where you are from: Sydney, Australia. Liam grew up by the beach and moved to America when he was 16. He now lives in a apartment in the center of DC.


Appearance: He has honey colored hair that sweeps across his forehead. Liam has little freckles that dot his nose and cheeks fun being in the sun. His bright green eyes give him a younger appearance. He has a height of 5'11 and is pretty strong. He is pretty slim but also is very muscular and buff. He arrived wearing a pair of converse and jeans. He usually wears a sweatshirt and jeans.


Personality: He is very funny and nice. He can get controlling and thinks he's the leader. He isn't the type of person who gets in fights but he would be the one who stop it. He trusts people to much and loves to help out.


History (where you where when the world turned to madness): Liam was at football practice, He is the quarterback of the team. Liam has 2 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. His parents worked a lot so he didn't see them much. He pretty much raised the family because they where never around. His entire family moved a week ago to go to Hawaii, but Liam stayed to finish his senior year.


Up for love? (yes or no): Yes, he will take care of the girl he falls for and support her all the way though.

Name: Alice Rowe


Gender: Female


Where you are from: Tennesse. She travelled to DC for touring purposes.


Appearance: a bit pudgy, big green eyes, curly blonde hair, fair skin. She wears beanies, converses, baggy tee shirts, and skinny jeans. She also has glasses.


Personality: She is quirky and nice. She is quick thinking but tends to jump to conclusions.

History (where you where when the world turned to madness): Alice was walking through the streets while on the phone with her mother reassuring her that she'd be fine(she went to DC alone) when everything happened.

Other: Alice had a bag full of snacks and drinks with her and a blanket. Also, some clothing.

Where you are from: Canada. In DC Just to visit his twin sister and her husband.


Appearance: Steave has charcole black hair and swamp green eyes. He's about 6 ft 4, medium build and always wears a smile. His dusty jeans and beat-up T-shirts make his character seem worn and older then he is though his personality...


Personality: out going, wierd, way out of the ordernary and he's Bipolar. Once in awile Steave will do something sweet, but don't count on it. He also has a bad habbit of reading peoples diaries.


History: He resently (like today) went through a bad brake up.


Up for love: I guess if there's someone who can stand him!


Other: he cames with a MP3 player and a small plug in speaker in his pants pocket.

Name: Tabitha Marx


Gender: Female


Where you are from: Just outside of San Fransisco, California


Appearance: Blue eyes sparkle from underneath overgrown black bangs. With her heart-shaped face, many would call Tabitha beautiful. She would be if it wasn't for the silver scar that ran downside her face. At one point, her skin was a pale flawless, but after society erupted into madness, she had to learn to fend for herself. She keeps her wardrobe simple: jeans and a black shirt with a pair of red converse that are so worn the soles have holes in them.

Personality: A strong country girl, she grew up just outside the City by the Bay. Her town was small and a simple surfing-farming town, and she was known for her fantastic ability to "shred the waves" just as well as asphalt. She's also known to be energetic and full of life. After she received her scar, she found it a challenge to have people accept her for who she was, but it made her a survivor. It made her strong. However, she keeps her life before safe haven a secret, especially how she got her scar.


History (where you where when the world turned to madness):
When the world turned to madness, Tabitha Marx was surprised when her simple, laid-back surfing town suddenly erupted in an ever man surviving for themselves situation. Coming from a family with three other children, she thought it would be best to take her chances in finding a safe house. She traveled across the country, from town to town until finding Safe Haven.

Up for love? (yes or no)
Yes, but at times she can be self-conscious on account of her scar. She wants somebody to accept her for who she is, not the choices she's made in the past.

Other: She arrived with her camera (instant photos, like the ones from the 90's or whatever and runs on batteries) and a notebook and a black backpack carrying her photo album. And her skateboard, wouldn't go anywhere without it!

Where are you from: Manhattan, New York

Gender: Female

Appearance:
She has big, flashing hazel eyes that are more golden than green, and short, jagged auburn hair and bangs. She has a thin frame and is a little short, and her nose turns up at the end, and most people describe her as cat-like. Her skin is creamy and she normally wears a faded red tank top and black jeans with thick boots, and occasionally wears her leather jacket when she's cold.

Personality:
Despite her size, she is very sarcastic and quick to judge. She can tell when someone is lying, and is quick to learn someone's thoughts by their facial expressions. She has a very sharp tongue and is very good at sneaking and breaking into places. What little people figure out is that she actually becomes very protective of the people close to her, due to the fact that she never had a normal childhood. She keeps a journal with her and a picture of her little sister in hopes that someone living in a better time might find it after she is gone and pass on her story.

History (where you were when the world turned to madness):
She was always working where she could to support her little sister Mary and alcoholic mother. She had to learn how to grow up fast in order to keep Mary off the streets with clean clothes and food in her belly, and to protect Mary from her mother's nameless boyfriends. Because she always worked until very late at night, she became ruthless with a knife to protect herself. She decided to leave to Virginia when she found a permanent job as an assistant, and planned to send in weekly checks and visit three times a month to make sure Mary was healthy. But on the way the bus had broken down in D.C. during the first wave of madness and she had to seek shelter at save haven, and now she constantly worries about her little sister's life.

She isn't focused on a relationship, but isn't against it either, so yes. She's naturally suspicious and especially cruel to guys in general because of her mother.

Other:
She carries multiple knives on herself, and has hidden pockets on her clothes. She has a backpack with three pairs of extra clothes, three water bottles, her notebook and a pen, granola bars, money, and her sunglasses, plus the papers about her assistant job (She was planning to stay in Virginia anyways).

Name: Mark Handley

Gender: Male

Where you are from: St. Louis, Missouri. Went to DC for a historical trip.

Appearance: Dark hair and dark skin. He has oriental backgrounds, but he mother and father are both American, so he doesn't know anyone from Asia. His hair is cropped short, except for a small part at the front, which is a little bit longer. He's fit.

Personality: He is very smart (alec) and he loves to make people laugh. He loves history, but he hates all other types of learning. He'll follow someone, but only if he know they are a better leader than him. He is very much a beta personality.

History: He was in DC when it happened. He was visiting the mirror pool for a history report on his college class when it all went down.

Up for love: Of course, he loves love!

Other: He always has an expensive camera around his neck.

Where you are from:China

Appearance:Alex has dark brown hair and a smooth honey complexion. His father is Chinese and his mother is European, he is fluent in both Chinese and English.
He is a bit of a squirt but likes to use it to his advantage.

Personality: He is a bit shy with strangers but completely arrogant around people he knows better. He is very smart for his age but doesn't like to show it because it isn't considered 'cool' and he would have been called a nerd by his friends; however he uses this to his advantage to make snark remarks. He likes to use his size to look cute and innocent to teachers and adults when he gets in trouble and get out of it. He likes action cartoons and anime with plenty of explosions. Even more so he likes to pretend he has a gun or bow and arrow and shoot imaginary targets on the ground as he walks to his school and other places. He thinks teenagers and completely stupid and only listens to his mum or people with wrinkles.

On his way to catch a bus to visit his grandmother in her retirement village.
