Hey I'm interested if there are still spots open. I have idea for a character that'll add a bit of...interest, if I'm allowed to modify an existing character for the setting.
The character who came to mind was a dramatic (almost cartoonishly so) elf with zero grace or subtlety. He's also in his teenage years, like, actually, and has all the unpretty teenager quirks like being super awkward, kinda (really) dumb, and not knowing his limits. At all.
The style of prose I use for him is really flowery and exaggerated, so it might be annoying to read. I can get a sample of it from another rp once I'm on my laptop after work, but that'll be a few hours.
I just feel it might be fun to have a member of the team who doesn't necessarily get along with everyone, or anyone, else in the group to have some internal drama. If that doesn't fit what you wanna do though I'm down to switch directions.
No! That sounds great. A little dramatic, awkward boi. Welcome to the team! Once we can get most of us together, we should come up with our origin story and team name.
Just as a disclaimer, I have never played DND so I don't really know a ton about it or the rules. XD Is that gonna be really needed for this RP? Also, because of my lack of knowledge I'm struggling to figure out how to design my character because I don't really know the stereotypes to subvert lol.
And when the day shifts to night, The wild wolf calls to me, And I am not afraid. I fear the darkness far more than I fear his claws
Hey, Winter! The rules of D&D aren't going to play a role; some of us are just using some terms to describe species and magic types. You don't need to have any experience with D&D to participate.
I am so tempted... I am SO tempted... to subvert a trope for a character in a way no one would expect... I'm gonna try to find something equally ridiculous but also one I could still write.
