Hi everyone. I saw everyone else who was new posting here so I bent to peer-pressure and did likewise.

Short bio: Name's Devon. Big on fantasy, scifi and horror. A bit of a grammar snob, which is kind of ironic with all these sentence fragments here. I. Guess. Sentence. Fragments. Are. Exceptions to. My snobbery. And I think most of the stuff I write is going to deserve R ratings, unfortunately. I enjoy long walks on frozen, snow-covered Canadian beaches... as in... walking on the frozen water. Okay, I'm lying. I live in Toronto. It's not really that cold. But I do curl.

So... yeah, that's me in a really small nutshell for the intents and purposes of this site.

Cheers, and happy reading/writing.

Hi Devon. Welcome to the site!

Quite cool about the horror... as I may need to write some murder scenes for my NaNo. Any tips? ;)

Oh, and Canada is cool. I mean, cold. Um.. yeah.

Anyways, if you get lost or anything, feel free to PM me or something.

Have fun!
Kay.

Hey, and welcome to YWS!

I have a cousin named Devon. But he's about seven years old, so you're definitely not him. XD

PM me if you've got any questions or need a critique!

I can't wait to see your work around the site...

Oi, we've got another Canadian!

Cool that we've got another fantasy lover, too.

Welcome to you, Devon, and I hope you enjoy it here at YWS. Feel free to PM me or something if you have questions and so-so.

Devon has to be one of the greatest names ever. It starts with a D and can be used for either gender. Remarkable!

Welcome to the YWS. Don't worry about being a grammar snob. Most of us are.

Or as I like to call...

You won't be alone in being a grammar nazi as MW puts it. They're all over this site.

Welcome to YWS and I hope your horror is full of lovely violence and bloodshed. PM me if you feel like chatting to stave off boredom.

Grammar nazis... i guess some could put it that way... if you wanted to.

We've met already. ^_^

I, too, am addicted to fragments - there just too interesting to stop using. I mean, who wants to read everything in perfectly grammatical, easily diagrammable sentences anyway? ^_~

Welcome, again.
