The first time I told somebody that, they stared at me like I was weird. And then they hit me. Yes, hit. Then the smothered me in hugs and told me how awesome that was of me to say that.
Also, I might add, that the best way to revise poetry, is to read it aloud. Most people forget to do that.

reading poetry is only generally useful when you can distinguish the good from the bad--and even more so when you can decipher the whys behind this.

Is there a way to help me improve my rhythm when I write poetry?
Let me guess....read poetry with good rhythm?
I love to write poetry, and I'm good at rhyming and imagery, but my rhythm is not so great. Maybe that also explains why I can't dance...no rhythm. Haha.
