Hi there.

I'm not new to forums, just this one. I've been writing for about six years now, but nothing has come of it. I have sent into a major contest, but the results aren't in yet, that will be exciting. I'm a big 'classic' reader, though school has bogged me down a lot with everything.

I haven't written something worth while in months, and I'm hoping being at a site like this will really perk up my muse!

Hey Claudette! Welcome to YWS--you'll love it here, I'm sure. School has cut in on my leisure reading, too. Life is busy for everyone, I think. :D What kind of writing contest did you enter...(not asking for names or anything, obviously )

Well, have fun and write a lot! I'll see you around,

Wow the people here are SO nice! I'm so surprised!! To answer the few questions people have asked.. 1. I'm not sure what kind of writing I write. Short stories, sort of historical fiction with major twists? I might put up some of my really polished stuff to see what everyone thinks :-)

and 2. I entered the Writers Digest Fiction Contest, I think is what its called. A lot of people enter it, so I'm not sure what my chances are! But We'll see! I'm hoping for the best.
