Spoiler
not sure what this means yet...really stupid, sorry to hurt your eyes.

Seas of Gold

We look forever, not grasping what we have.
We can use our eyes to find the hope in everyone,
But we just find tears.
We keep our ears open, listening for
we don't know what.
Leaning on each other, to hear more.

We look in the mirror,
trying to find the beauty,
but we can't.
We just see the others,
the ones forgetting us
by chance.

Every day, the same song
plays on and on,
and we try to find the meaning to the words
that we sing too.

Every moment we search for something more,
Try not to let it get to us.

We're looking for those Seas of Gold,
That will make us rich forever.

You say its here,
I say its somewhere.

I try to find my way through this life,
Not knowing which way to turn.
I try to help the people I see,
But I never know if I am.

We're looking for those Seas of Gold,
that will make us rich forever.

You say its here on earth.
I say its in Heaven, or Hell.

We're searching for the Seas of Gold.
We'll make ourselves rich forever.

I liked this a lot. It made me think. I believe that the Seas of Gold is kind of like fitting in. And everything you said in the poem made me think about a person trying to be themselves but getting roped into the crowd... you know? Anyway... that's my way of saying I loved this. It was great and it made me think, plus it came from your heart, I can tell. I really hope to see more of your work! Haha. 4 owls out of 5! Great job!

I Loved it! Especially the first part

I feel the same way a lot of the time. Thank you for writing this, and I disagree with it being stupid, I thought it was awesome. So great work, and please keep writing.

In order to write about life, first you must live it!

Hi there!

This is a great poem. I really enjoyed reading it. It was written very well and there aren't any spelling or grammer errors I could find. It also flows well and sticks to the main idea quite well. Here's my favorite part:

Every day, the same song
plays on and on,
and we try to find the meaning to the words
that we sing too.

This is so true. Most people go through life not even thinking about what they are doing.

Overall this is a great poem. Keep writing!
Noelle is the name, reviewing and writing cliffhangers is the game.

Writer of fantasy, action/adventure, and magic. Huzzah!
