Letting your girlfriend/boyfriend go

That one night a tear falls down my face,
You took back the words right in this very place.
How could this go wrong?
We were doing so well
I gave you my heart you had me under your spell.
Please don’t end this, because I wrote this for you
But sadly its over baby,
“I loved you”.

My short poem

If i could give you the world,
The stars in the sky,
Or anything You could ever wish for
I would,
Just to make you smile.

I love you. x

Short and sweet poems for winning a boy/girl over

I caught her eye,
She caught mine,
Now i think of her,
All the time.

-----------------------

We can be mean,
Push and shove
But we both know,
Its just young love.

----------------------

I will shine a light for you
To help you come to me
You can have my heart,
Just ask for the key.

hello there :)

I liked the second poem especially... it was sweet. The only thing I disagree with is your non-use of punctuation. If you don't understand where to put it just write it out in sentence format so you can see.

Also, You probably should have posted these poems separately as they are not all one piece. And to do that, you need to review ;)

but other than that, good job

Alone- alone- all- all- alone
Upon the wide, wide sea-
And God will not take pity on
My soul in agony!

Hey thanks for the review!
:D

Sorry I know I don't use punctuation a lot but I'm usually just sharing them between friends, so I wouldn't know where to put the commas and full-stops etc.

And thanks, I'll separate them in future posts.

I only didn't because I thought they would be too short to be poems individually.

A poem can be as short as the writer wants to make it.. Hey it's yours, and no one can tell you how to write ;)

(that sounded kinda corny, but you know what I mean lol)
Alone- alone- all- all- alone

And God will not take pity on
My soul in agony!

I can't understand why people are frightened by new ideas. I'm frightened of old ones.
