I honestly don't know which poetry section this should fall into, so if you don't think it fits here, please just go wit it. :D

Depth & Love, Respectively

6-28-05

The secrets of today die and hide
with me, in the summer of a bonfire life,
letting the chill instill me with Plato,
the follicle-sizzling cuddliness instilling me with the moment,
falling away from you around a flagpole,
hiding in my second-place destiny,
killing everywhere-else with a focused, pearly-rich mind.

Fall away from me,
because I’m falling (hard) into your softest place,
diving into your bosom-sea
beneath the succulent stars
of anti-anonymity.

I’m killing the saxophone, infinitely-drunk vibe
of the newspaper editor’s callused, discoloured self.
And I want to end your soulless belief-cycle,
on a daily-delivered realm
of elepthantly-textured newspaper page-sages.
and my microphone is crying
out-loud again,
in the noir night
of my brother,
loneliness~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wow. Great stuff. Loved it from start to end.

Yeah, must agree with Firestarter.

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.
