Hiding behind plaster
in masks of sorrow

I've seen others' futures
a burden like no other

In a world of shiny coverings
so much beneath the surface

Fake lines curve upwards on faces of cardboard
etching lies into the hollow husks around

Perceiving only darkness and suffering
light shines from the darkest of holes

Thoughts scream under fake veneers
echoing in the remains of nothing

The echos bounce and wreck
soon the insides collapse bringing the rest with it

Some survive beneath the burdens of all the world
bringing out the problems to no avail

So many solutions
with so little problems

But no solution has ever come completed
each and every one falling short at it's end
to be recalculated and derived from similar circumstances
to the same conclusions

Little flares shoot outwards
leaving an unfufilled legacy
slowly the ashes begin to burn
until everything is gone

Same as it was before.
Then it starts all over.
By nature, all language is flawed.

When you cut pieces out of the truth to avoid looking like a fool, you end up looking like a moron instead.
