Spirits wandering
lost and angry
starved and hollow
haunting faces stare

Two come to remember
through pain and tears
they relive their past
weeping softly now

They stand and pray
where millions had died
the spirits stirring
their gentling faces turn

The air thickens
as the mourning dead
greet their comrades
their only two survivors

The ruined brick dwellings
dripping with dead
never to be able to rest
their stories never told

A tribute to the Holocaust victims.

(sorry so short but i don't have much time.)

i loved these parts:

the spirits stirring
their gentling faces turn

The ruined brick dwellings
dripping with dead
never to be able to rest
their stories never told

i loved the topic you related it to - perfect.
in some places it seemed very... dribble-like, though.
Carpe Diem.

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
