Spoiler
My father died of cancer when i was 14, and his father died of cancer when he was 9. I will not let my fate be the same. I will win
The disease that took my father
Now eats at my lungs.
The disease that took his father
now quickens my breath.
The tumor that ruined a generation
working in silence.
A silent killer
causing turmoil and tears
How dare you rear your face.
I will see my daughter down the aisle.
I will see my son hold his head high.
I will see my wife smile till her dying day,
and i will see you die
here right now.
Excuse my language, but my anger rages
When i think of you.
I see my son playing ball all alone
and I feel what you have done.
I cannot sit or stand or run or jump;
You've proved your damaging effects,
But my spirit remains strong!
I miss my son as he misses me
but I can't stand on my own two feet.
My knees are as weak as my breathing
while you invade my body.
No mr. cancer this is my body
so get the hell out!
I will survive this. I will
win my freedom from you.
I do not give myself permission
to quit and die
I will see myself to victory.
This fight is not over,
I will come back.
My body regains its' strength
as I slowly regain my hope.
I have things to live for.
A family right behind me.
Killing you, I say goodbye,
so, get the hell out!
