Isn't it his 'words' and not his 'writing'?
In all the time we have
There is never enough time
To show what is in our heart.

No...God didn't write THROUGH these people. Men wrote the Bible. Moses, Luke, Paul, John Mark...just men. Hopefully God ordained and preserved the Bible and the truth throughout time, but no, he didn't write it. Men wrote it. Can I say that again? Men wrote it, it's a flawed book. But there are some nice elements to it.

She means that certain men were inspired by God to write the bible.

God didn't write it, but it is HIS words. Hope that makes more sense.

Hey, I like that book! It is very well written, if I must say!

The Bible is divinely inspired. I'm sorry, but I don't take it as just being a fairy tale written by poets ^_^ There is a whole lot you can learn from that book

Cease these religious meanderings. Cease them at once! I am so sick of religion intruding on everything, it has no bloody hold in these discussions. Sheesh. Now Im irritated and I cant think of a poor book, I will eventually though and when this occurs I will return.

I bid you all Good day!

I love Pride and Prejudice too! And you don't have to apologize for loving the Bible. :D

You know what, JigSaw, me too! I'm so sick of secularism and multiculturalism intruding on everything, so I'm just going to let it ruin my day. :P Don't sweat it... just post your books.

Oh, I don't get it...

These books were inspired by God. He used the men (Paul, Peter, John, etc) and their personalities, time periods and such in order to get His law across.
I am a Christian with a very, very good Bible teacher.
Any ways, to the worst book EVER, Cry the Beloved Counrty.
We had to read it for school. I used spark notes...I know that's cheating, but hey, what can I say. [/u]

OK *Cracks knuckles* lets get this party started:

1: The Unfortunate Events Series--I used to love them but I now I HATE them...it was a sad waste of my time.

2: All the Goosebumps! god, why do people read them? oooh, she turning that person into a chicken....AH! I'M SCARED!

That's all, I know it's a short list, but I'm one of those people who doesn't keep on reading if she hates the book in the first chapter. And actually I like the Bible, although I am about as for from Christian as you can be.
