What would you do/think if you got a story of your published and then found that someone had made a forum for discussing it, or had written a fanfic about it?

If it was a forum, I would be speechless, and then join but not say who I was. :P

If it was fanart/fanfiction, I'd be flattered, though the level of flattery would depend on how well it was written. But I WOULD NOT be flattered if it was some perverse crossover.

I agree with that. I hate it when people write fanfics and they make the story nothing like the original thing its based off of. I mean I see M/M pairings for characters that have a woman by their side every moment.

But hey that's just me.

Also, if I saw a fansite for my work that was being run like The Twilight Lexicon*, I'd be mad.

*They require all posts to be approved by mods and anything less than "Twilight is the best" isn't let through.

I think it would be awesome.
I wrote the above just for you.
