I need to read a novel for this project for English. It needs to be a book that has a lot to be said about it, and I really love John Irivng. Have you read any of his books and would suggest for me to read them?

Read any of his books I haven't. But I've seen the movie version of his book A Prayer for Owen Meany. The movie was pretty good. I have the book I just haven't gotten around to reading it. Time magazine said it was good but in a much more fancier format than I said it.

Either Owen Meany or Garp. Garp's great if you want to get into a writer's head, but personally, I think Owen Meany is his masterpiece. Book made me cry. Seriously. Probably the most consistently top-of-the-list favorite novel for me. 'at's my two cents.
