So I've read a lot of poetry and I've watched a lot of comedy. I think the hardest thing for me to do is to create a poem where it is knowingly sarcastic. This isn't a problem I have alone either, I know a lot of people have this problem. What are your suggestions on how to go about writing a poem with humor?

I ask because I know a lot of them end up in the literary spotlight, so maybe a couple of the experts at getting in there for that could come by and drop off their advice?

There are those who say that life is like a book, with chapters for each event in your life and a limited number of pages on which you can spend your time. But I prefer to think that a book is like a life, particularly a good one, which is well to worth staying up all night to finish.
