The other day I was thinking about epic poems and why nobody writes them anymore. I thought for a while and, since I have an idea that has refused to form itself into a novel, I decided to write an epic poem. It has been going as well as you could expect, and I have two questions:
1. Where should I post my epic poem?
2. What are your opinions on epic poetry?
If I don't get you, PM me!

I think no one writes them anymore because a) we are forced to read them in school and therefore come to hate them because of their language form and b) it's easier just to write it as a story rather than an epic poem. Personally, I just hate them from being forced to read them haha. Literature used to be this highly formatted thing when epic poems were popular, but it has become so unformatted that it's just not important anymore.

Narrative poetry would be the place ;)

My teacher had us write some too. It was fun, but I certainly enjoy writing them than reading them.
my world isn't only beautiful
it is so far away
