In my experience of Rock, Paper, Scissors, no-one ever picks Rock the first round. Maybe it's because it seems lazy, maybe it's some other reason.
Anyway, for this reason I always go Scissors (apart from when playing someone who really knows my style). And I ALWAYS win. Or draw.
