Love is a 'close' understanding of two persons. It can be intimate, or it can be a mere friendship. You cant compare a couple's love and love one has for his family, it's the same. Unless you are saying a couple is a 'Lust'.
No your right.
The way you love your wife (ie. kissing, hugging, doin it) would be different from the way you love your sister, you dont exactly kiss or hug or do it, but you love each other, you have an attachment.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.
There is not a blanket definition for love. It is unique to each and every person.
For me, love is responsibility and endearment, but it's also fun and lighthearted. There are moments of darkness and moments of elation. Love covers every area of the gray spectrum.
Love you guys

"And I am a writer
writer of fiction
I am the heart that you call home
And I've written pages upon pages
Trying to rid you from my bones...
Let me go if you don't love me" ~The Decembrists "Engine Driver"
Actually Ive just though that Love isnt painful, the loss of it is.
I mean, your arm isnt constantly hurting, only when you lose it does it hurt like a bi.ch.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.
Love is painful, what if the person you love doesnt love you back? What if you alone share a love for something others cant or wont or just simply dont, what if you have to let the person you love do terrible things because you love them, what if they cheat on you and take your love for them for granted, and what if you never know what love is. Everything surrounding the word hurts to think about, therefore its painful.
Sorry it's gotta be onions...
Delicious smell... sweet sweet taste... the watery eyes... the sniffing.... the running nose... the not-completely-chopped-up ones you find in a Burger King whopper...
These all remind me of love!!
Martyr of Banality... such a joy in life... such happiness... such a desire to just implode...
Love is just an illusion. It does not exist.
LUST does. Now that's painful...but more so for males than females...teehee...I have a mind like a sewer, me.
I'm surprised i never posted in this love is when you heart beat speeds up as soon as you see them. Love is when all things seem boring without the one you love. Love is when you'll change to strenghen a relationship. Love is when you remain loyal even though you only see or hear them little.
Also i have posted in this but now my view is more experieced
We get off to the rhythm of the trigger and destruction. Fallujah to New Orleans with impunity to kill. We are the hidden fist of the free market.
We are the ink, we are the quill.
[The Ink And The Quill (Be Afraid) - Anti-Flag]
Love is just a deep-seeded appreciation for someone or something. I appreciate what chocolate does for my tastebuds; I once appreciated the fact that she appreciated me.
It might be more profound than that, but that's how I see it.
All the sadness and angst are a by-product of love - they don't define it.
Gone, gone from New York City,
where you gonna go with a head that empty?
Gone, gone from New York City,
where you gonna go with a heart that gone?
Love is beautiful.
Love is unforgettable.
Love is expressionism,
and if you cry they cry.
You're happy for them.
They're happy for you.
They want what's best for each another
even if it means hurting themselves for the other.
Love isn't fate,
Love is destiny.

You can't love at first sight.
But you can after the second.
