When it's about Sports, I always write "defense," but if it's related to the military, I always write "defence." It comes from getting all my news from the Brits, but I'm wondering, how many spell defence with a c?

Well, I can't eat muffins in an agitated manner. The butter would probably get on my cuffs. One should always eat muffins quite calmly. It is the only way to eat them.

Usually defence even with sport because defence, if you look at synonyms they're protection, guard, security, cover... which is generally applied to sport positions too.
Defense is not wrong but i would say defence
