I uh was a stupid 14 year old who for some reason just went "screw this, I need to find something so I'm not alone anymore." And I had just started seriously working on the second draft of my original novel *looks longingly at WHH* so I went to writing websites. This was at the top of the list so I jumped inside and it all went downhill from there.
I was thinking, hmm, I like writing. What if I could finally show other people my writing? So first I found a fanfiction website because I wanted to write some fanfics(Which I still haven't gotten around to x-x lol). I read a really cool story there, but it didn't feel like the type of site I was looking for. So Google came to the rescue and showed me this wonderful website! After stalking looking around for a bit, I decided I would try it, and so I joined and here I am today!
Unofficial Blue Cat of YWS =^-^= she/her please <3
A long, long time ago in a forum long since dead, a Kyll encountered a link after suffering burnout from another writing-oriented site.
Several layout changes and much lurking later, Kyll finally got around to joining on a most auspicious date and promptly disappeared for a year before returning.
I actually was told by my mother about a year ago to go find some sort of writing community/club online that I could join. I found YWS and was instantly hooked.

Non of my friends are writers, and I wanted a community that could give me feedback, knew what it was like to have writers block, and so on. So I google something like writers community. After a bit of searching, I found YWS, and it seemed like a good fit. And it was!
I actually was writing a novel and I sorta needed help with it. I asked my dad and he searched up "writing sites for young kids". We found YWS and I fell in love with the site and made an account right there and then. It was like midnight, lol. I may or may not have stayed on until like 3 AM in the morning, lol.
I sort of found it through Google, but Google led me to some random persons blog about top 10-something websites for young writers and BOOM! There was YWS.
