Hey there.

So, I'll keep this short and sweet, as I'm sure you're probably in a rush:

I'm planning a novel series, and at one point during it, my characters have to trek to find a "steel sword". (it's a fantasy land, if that helps)

But I'm having real trouble deciding where this sword'll be found. Can you perhaps help me?
You're my favourite.

A lot of it will depend on the type of world and the geography, history, and trade interactions. There's no singular "fantasy" land, and so we're going to need more details to help.

Metal deposits, trades, the use/reverence of swords(/blades in general), history, ect are so varied across the world that there are too many possibilities to really select one. Therefore, when asking for a more exact piece of information, it's better to give us some details so we can narrow down the possibilities.
