Islam

I'm currently wrestling with a character (more or less figuratively) who is Muslim, and it is a big part of his life. Unfortunately, I only know a smattering of things that I've picked up recently--anything beyond the basics is beyond me.

I'm pretty certain that he is a Shiite, but if you have any information on Sunni Islam as well that would be awesome sauce. ^_^ Anything and everything would be appreciated.

I'm actually currently visiting Pakistan and have gotten to know many shiite's and am a shia myself. I'm hundred percent sure I can help you.

This ones about Jihad. I know it may seem irrelevant but I feel it's important you read this before writing about a Muslim. Besides it tends to be a hot topic.

I hope you don't write this based on pre assumed things.

And when you research on the net about Shia-ism. Try to look for website that are from shia perspective instead of someone else's perspective on shias because in that way you can get closer to your character.
