Naming help

In a story of mine the protagonist comes to own a bright orange egg that eventually hatches into a strange bird. A small, mostly round bird. Bright orange in color with details in a darker shade mostly around its wings and tail feathers. Twitching to and fro it lets off the occasional burst of fire. Quite attached to the small thing he decides to name it. On the spot. Now picking a convincingly random name that also sounds good is hard, but I have come to three names after annoying everyone who was on skype at the time about it, and ask people help me.

I meant originality as in Torch and Spark (e.g. "Spark-y" is as cliche as they come).

I think it is perfectly appropriate to have a name relating to fire though, and of course all names can be attributed to something else first...
