I'm happy I at least got over 1000 words today! I'm only about a day behind now and I can make that up this weekend. This week has been so bananas with the election obviously and lots of work stuff. But it's almost the weekend.

I really thought I'd hit the goal tonight but I hit a wall and am super tired. BUT I KNOW WHAT THE NEXT COUPLE OF SCENES ARE AND I THINK THE END IS IN SIGHT.

(As much as I've enjoyed figuring out this story and getting to know this new cast, I'm so excited to start working on the new Liz+Zac story!!)

I have SO much to do at work right now. UGH. And I have a mild cold (nasal congestion only) so I'm not feeling 100%. My words today are garbage but I at least wanted to get something on the page. I still believe it's possible for me to get caught up to the word count goal! I should be all caught up on work by the end of the day tomorrow or definitely by Wednesday and then I'll be able to slap an ending on this book and START MY LIZ + ZAC REVAMP THAT I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT!

Still swamped at work although it's getting better! I'm just sprinting as much as I can in the small window before bed rather than doing a crawl, but I'm hoping I can start crawling again tomorrow and make up some of this ground I've lost!

Intended to start much earlier today but then I succumbed to the siren call of youtube and went down a rabbit hole :p

But I'm proud that I've written something each day, even the days when I've been drowning in work or motivation is sitting around zero.

I'm not traveling for Thanksgiving this year, so who knows, maybe I'll have a crazy hail Mary writing weekend to close out the month!! I'm coming back swinging don't you worry. I'm always bad at slapping endings on books too so once I finally end this thing I can write all the L+Z reboot scenes that are ready to goooooo
