Granted, but then it shape-shifted back into Jacob.
I wish pain was taken away from all deaths.

Granted, but then death is never-ending and you're just stuck forever in that one, final moment, staring into your daughter's eyes, unable to tell them,
"I love you. I'm proud of you... etc."
Eventually they get bored and leave you...

i wish for a lollipop.

Granted, but when you get it, It's locked in an unbreakable glass case so you can only ever look at it.
Every other lolipop in the world is also destroyed.

I wish the hoidays would hurry up and get here.

Granted, but the weather is too horrible for any sort of fun.

Granted. The heat did go away, but then it turned ice-cold.

Granted, but you end up passing a different math course meant for people of a lesser level and have to retake the normal course next year.
I wish that I could make others experience the pain they inflicted on me.

I wish the coconut ice-cream I'm eating right now could magically turn into chocolate ice-cream.

Granted, but the chocolate is made of human flesh and you get done for cannibalism.

I wish I wasn't always so worried about other people's problems and just got on with worrying about my own.

Granted; your problems suddenly become twenty times more horrible than everyone else's combined and you can't possibly focus on anything else.
