Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

Link: Steps Ahead of Thunder

Genre: Other fiction/Horror

Summary:

Well, it's supposed to be an entry for Cat and June's Horror contest. I'd rather not give you a summary, and instead make sure you can tell what's going on without me spelling it out for you? If you'd rather a summary, though, just PM me.

I'd love help on how to possibly make it more horrific, and of course how to improve it all-around. Although, I'm not sure if you're okay with Horror? I don't think it's really that terrifying, but it's supposed to be a little scary. If you'd rather not review it, just PM me. ^_^

Thanks so much, Sakura!

*Steps up*

I'd love it if you were to comment on The Gate in fantasy fiction. Please ignore the dialogue grammar; I meant it to be that way. I'd rather have stuff on character.
