We have all sinned.

Blazes and blood,
Blights on the day,
Whispers and winters,
Willows at play.

Offers and oaths,
I solemnly swear,
Push and pull,
Romance at wear.

Music and muse,
Many a day,
Silence and secrets,
Drive people away.

Spinning and twirling,
Whispering, whirling,
Oh what beautiful symphonies.

Guilted highs,
Pretty white cries,

Dancing of fairies,
Ice frosted berries,

Stars in the night,
Birds in their flight,

Loving the enthusiasm Lizzy! The line "Feel ill at ease" really got me in your first poem, and I'm really enjoying how you use rhyme and repetition.

Velvet skies,

To me
Poetry is a dance
A song
A whisper
An in inadequate
Representation of
Human emotion.

What is poetry?
The answer is not
A long one
Or even an
Impressive one.
Poetry…
Is whatever you
Need it to be

When the world is crashing down
And there’s nothing you can do
I will always be here

When stress sweeps you off your feet
And you don’t know what to do

When your world comes crashing down
And there is nothing either of us can do
I hope you know that I will always be here
And that I will always stand by you


I made this for a friend going through a hard time.

Bats flicker
And flit,
Ghouls cackle
And spit.

Kids trick
And they treat,
They laugh
And they eat.

Candy stolen
Memories shared,
Truths are told
And things are dared.
