Cornyx straightens his jacket, more annoyed than amused. There's ghosts and demons everywhere - hell, he is one - and mortals freaking out about it is just irritating after a while.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
He raises an eyebrow. Well, this one, at least, is a bit amusing. "I'd be a bit more polite if I were you, friend. Either one of us could have your soul in a second." He snaps his fingers on the word 'second'.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
Realizing that his facade had been seen through, he removed the hood to his Artifact. His gaze shifted between Cornyx and the girl, who seemed to be confused by his sudden change of appearance. "No one is going to be taking any souls while I'm here," he quietly said. Thanatos once informed - though it was many, many years ago - that his anger was so terrifying because of its rareness and how subtle it was. He knew that the anger had resurfaced and was seeping into his words as he took a step between Cornyx and the girl.
He glared at him. Even if Cornyx didn't intend to follow up on his words, the threat was far too familiar. He hated when anyone hung their power over the heads of others. Then, satisfied with his glare, he turned to look back at the girl. "Is it alright if I ask you more questions about the ghost? I need to know more information about them so I can help. Are they in every mirror? What do they look like? And do you know anything about them?"
Spoiler! :
@FalconryGirl9086, even though Hades seems to hate Cornyx's guts, I love him right now. He's a pretty cool character! I just wanted you to know that the feeling is far from mutual.
"I never said I would, I simply said I had the ability to," Cornyx points out. Raven frowns, looking a bit confused as she watches him, like she's trying to make sense of something and can't.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
When both of the non-human guests walked away, she frowned. How rude. Neither of them had acknowledged her presence at all!
Ah, well. She supposed sometimes people forgot their manners.
She turned to Henry, shrugging. "I guess I'll be off, then."
She walked down the hall with her hands in her pockets, looking for someone who might be in need of assistance of a girl-who-was-secretly-a-nine-tailed-fox.

Cornyx raises an eyebrow as he looks at the Woman. Wasn't she something.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
She started running when she heard the scream. When she came across a girl and one of the nonhumans she had seen earlier in front of a mirror, she stopped. There appeared to be something in the glass.
"Is everything all right?"
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
"Yes, quite certainly," he answers rather cordially. "Though we appreciate your concern."
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
"I'm Cornyx, this is Raven. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lily," he says with a slight bow.
