Nic

Nah... it's my fault. I got him drunk. He would have stopped anything from happening if I hadn't gotten him drunk.

"Let's stop placing the blame and figure out what to do about this," I say, studying Jace before looking at the girls, "Act like the adults we'll have to be."

Rayah

I swallow and don't say anything, Jackie arguing with no one in particular before I step in, "It isn't any of your decisions," I glance up at her, "It's mine."

Jackie raises an eyebrow and I close my eyes for a second, "And I really don't...think this is that bad. It's just...a kid."

Nic

"We're in high school," Jace whispers, not looking any of us in the eyes.

I slap him again but he stays in the same state, very close to breaking down.

Rayah

I look at Jace, not believing him, "Are you seriously kidding me? You do this to me, and you don't even choose to stay positive? Wow," I scoff, shaking my head before tearing up. Jackie looks at Jace, eyes wide, and I stand and walk upstairs, "Just forget it."

Nic

Jace looks up at her and swallows, shaking his head before burying his face back in his arms. I curse under my breath and stand, "He's in shock. Give him a break. If this were me, I'd of thrown a sh*t fit by now. He was drunk. Let him process all of this before you go about judging him."

Rayah

I drop against a wall before remembering something. Running back downstairs, I grab Jackie by the wrist and make her look at me, "Do that thing that you did with Jess. Get rid of it."

She studies me, "Are you sure?"

I nod and Close my eyes, "Do it."

Nic

"What?" I ask, taking a step back from the two of them.

Jace looks up and at the two in horror, confused. He opens his mouth to say something before shaking his head and bolting out of the house.

Rayah

I watch Jace bolt before shaking my head and looking back at Jackie. She just stares at me, "Your...absolutely sure?"

I nod slowly, "Yes."

She nods and closes her eyes, me feeling something inside of me dissapear. Making me feel...incomplete.

I swallow, "Done?"

She nods and clears her throat before sighing and opening her eyes, "Yeah..."

Nic

I shake my head as well and pick up Jace's jacket, walking out without a word and heading off to find him.

Rayah

Sighing, I open my eyes and grab my jacket, "Going to school."

Just as I take a step foward, my breathing stops. Freezing, I drop to my knees and bring my hands to my stomach, eyes going milky white, "Jack..."

Jackie freaks out, scooping me up and running me out of the house.

Nic

I get home and open the door, calling for Jace. I find him out back, in the small cavern we'd found a while back, curled up. He wipes his eyes when he hears me coming and buries his face in his arms. Sighing, I sit at his side and try to remember how to do stuff like this.

"Did she... did she go through with it?" he whispers.

"Yeah," I reply, studying him when he looks up.

He shakes his head but says no more, distantly looking down.

Rayah

She drops me in the grass and swears, something inside of me...

I close my eyes and let myself fade, my mother appearing next to me. She's holding two bundles in her arms, handing them to Jackie, "Take them to him," She whispers, "They are the destined ones."

She dissapears and it leaves her just about confused on everything on everything. She grab's my foot and carries the two babies in one arm, dragging me to Jace's house before setting me down by the door. She rings the doorbell and swallows, sweating.

Nic

I hear the doorbell ring and Jace looks up, confused. He stands and wipes his eyes, walking back to the house. I hesitate before following, getting to the door before him and answering it. Jackie stands there, Rayah lying on the porch, with two bundles in her arms.

"Uh...what the hell?" I ask, Jace looking at everything from behind me.

Jackie

I look at Nic before looking down at the babies in my arms, "Take them from me for a second. I'll get Rayah. Something happened."

Nic

"What happened?" I ask as Jace takes the babies and watches them with an unknown level of fascination.
