Jace

I sit on the arm of one of the couches and cross my arms, forming what I want to say in my mind, but not speaking just yet.

Grayson

I stay on the bed with Mariah in my arms, allowing myself to relax slightly until a twisted feeling knots in my gut. Swallowing, I try to convince myself that it's not what I believe it is and think of just about everything else.

Rayah

I lead Jackie into school, her books kept securely against her chest as she glances around. I turn to her, walking backwards infront of her. My tight skinny jeans with rips and them and my leather jacket open, I speak, "Loosen up. It's highschool for gods sake. Just because I'm a senior and your a Junior doesn't mean anything."

She stays quiet, looking around still, and I study her before knocking her books out of her hands and making a run for it. She swears and just leaves them, chasing after me.

Jace

Nic walks by my side, unusually silent. Instead of prodding him for why, I lead him into school just as Jackie and Rayah take off down the hall. Looking at him, I smile as he does and take off after them, him speeding ahead of me. He catches up to them first, wrapping his arms around Jackie and stopping her by nipping her neck. I sigh and come to a stop beside Rayah, "What are you two running for?"

Rayah

Jackie glances back at Nic, kissing his cheek in greeting, before looking back at me, "She's being difficult."

"Me?" I smirk, arms crossed.

She nods and I stick my tongue out at her before taking off running again. She follows me, pinning me against some lockers before letting me go and glancing around. I chuckle, "Wow. Bada*s today, I guess."

She flips me off before grabbing her stuff and heading to her first class. I watch her, dusting myself off.

Jace

Shaking my head, I watch Nic skip down the hall after Jackie before I head over to Rayah. I wrap an arm around her and kiss her cheek, "You alright?"

Rayah

I nod, flashing a smile, "Yeah. She wouldn't hurt me."

Jackie

Getting to math, I sit down in the front and lean back in my chair before taking out my notebook.

Jace

I nod, taking her hand, "We should get to class then."

Nic

I catch up with Jackie just as she sits down, wondering what's wrong. I sit at her side and sigh, trying to remember if I even had this class with her...

"What's up, babe?" I ask, looking at her. "You okay?"

Rayah

I nod and follow him to P.E.

Jackie

I smile, glancing at him, "Yeah. She just ticks me off."

Jace

I take her books for her and lead her to the gym, hoping that we won't do too much today.

Nic

I nod and smile back, taking her hand under the table, "Life does that to me... So does our principal. He hates me, I swear."

Rayah

We get to the locker rooms and I kiss him quickly before walking into the girls', my books back in my hands, and change.

Jackie

I bite my lip, squeezing his hand, "Yeah...that's kind of true."

"JACKIE!" The teacher yells at me, causing me to cringe, "No talking. Focus on the lesson."

I roll my eyes and look at the board. I already learned this...

Jace

I change into a t-shirt and shorts before heading out to the bleachers in wait of Rayah.

Nic

I swallow and squeeze Jackie's hand back, hesitating before taking out a paper and writing her a note. Study date after school? I'm going to need my beautiful tutor to do my homework for me. ; )

Rayah

I change, tying the shirt so it's tight on my stomach, and walk out. I sit next to Jace in our squad lines, reading the board in the gym.

Push-ups: 70
Sit ups: 100+

For cheerleaders-
Push ups: 100
Sit ups: 100+
Toe touches: 5
Lunges: hold for 30 secs.

I groan, running a hand through my hair, "Kill me now."

Jackie

I smile and nod at his note, putting it away so we don't get in trouble.

Jace

I take Rayah's hand and squeeze it, "I'll do it all with you if you want."

Nic

I smile back and face the front, trying to listen but not hearing anything but a dull monotone.

Rayah

I try not to laugh, "You uh...can't do toe touches, Jae."

Jackie

The teacher makes me tutor some guy across the room and I swallow, "Do I have to?"

He nods, giving me the death stare, and I groan before standing and heading over there.

Jace

I smile, "No, I can't... but I'll face the humiliation of trying to if you want."

Nic

I watch her go, some random girl being paired up with me, and try to focus on the work instead of her. I trust her... just not other people.
