Jace shakes his head, his eyes watering.
"I love you." He whispers, surpressing sobs. "I'm not leaving you like this."

"He cut it. He thinks its the right choice. But he says its Rayah's choice." Hermes looks over at me.

I nod, "Y-You n-need to go..."

Jace bites back the anger and looks away from Rayah for a moment. He gently sets her down and storms out, the blue sparking in his fingers as he takes off running.

"Cut it my rear end." I thought.

"I did not just fight two gods and kill someone all for nothing." I yelled.

Hermes runs after his son as I slowly stand. My eyes water and I sit on the bed, and bury my head in my hands. The sadness takes over and I fall backwards, crying as hard as ever.

I took pity on Rayah and walked over to the door opening it.

"I'ma go kill Hermes and get Jace back alright?" I ask.

I shake my head at her, "No. Don't..." I said flipping on my stomach and buried my head in a pillow.

Jace slips past Hermes, hiding in the brush beside the pool, and walks back up to the room, packing his stuff once more.

I see Jace come in and I stand up. I run over to him and hug him. "Good luck." I whisper, trying to hide the fact I was crying.

Jace hugs her, a tear of his own slipping down his face.
"Why do you want me to leave?" He whispers, holding in a sob. "I-I don't understand. We could make something out of this. You have to let me make up for the hell I'm causing you."

I let go and look at him. "Because your father wants you to. And it's the best thing to do." I said sitting on the side of the bed, wiping my tears away.

Jace wipes his own tears and sits beside her, taking a deep breath.
"The best thing to do?" He asks calmly. "How is leaving you on your own the best thing to do? How is ripping my heart out the best thing to do?"

"I mean, You need to train..." I said looking over at him. "And you need to fight. And you need to learn how to control your powers."

"W-We'll see eachother around..." I said looking down.

Jace shakes his head, standing, and runs a hand through his hair.
"W-we tried this, Rayah, and it didn't work." He says, his voice wavering. "I don't understand why we can't be different. I don't want to be anything other than what I am now. I don't want to be with anyone else. It's not freaking fair that I have no freaking say!"

Him yelling made me cringe. "I-I..." I couldn't get it out. I started crying again and buried my head in my hands, frustrated. "I-I'm sorry!" I yelled back at him through my hands.
