I sense her fatigue and sigh, pulling back after a while, "Just... get some rest. We can have fun later."

I study her, "Anything. You don't have to ask that."

Jackie

I nod and hesitate before opening my eyes, "You sure?"

I look down, "Would you still love me if I was a hybrid, Jae?"

Nic

I open my eyes and lie back, taking her with me, "Yeah, Jacks. Don't worry about it."

I study her, "One, I don't know what that is. And two, of course. You'd still be you. What you are isn't going to change that."

Jackie

I nod and stay atop him, resting my head on his chest.

Rayah

I swallow, "A hybrid is a half vampire...have werewolf, immortal. And...I am one."

Nic

I close my eyes again and pull the covers over us.

I look up at the ceiling, taking her hand, "Immortal?"

Jackie

I take a deep breath, cuddling into him.

Rayah

I nod and glance up at him, "Dont hate me, Jae. It isn't my fault. I...I don't want to be what I am."

Nic

I keep my arms around her, sighing.

I look at her, "I can't hate you, Ray. Don't be ridiculous. I can't blame you for that either. It doesn't change us. I just..."

I look back over myself, my injuries, and swallow.

"I'm just breakable," I whisper. "I don't live forever..."

Jackie

I fall asleep, at peace.

Rayah

I nod and take his face in my hands, "That's why I hadn't told you. But...when we were thinking of having kids...I had to. And when we got this close. I don't want to live forever, and then, have the greif of you dead the rest of my immortal life."

Nic

I fall asleep soon after, completely relaxed.

I study her, "There's gotta be a way. It's not fair, Rayah. I love you. You're the one for me."

Rayah

I hesitate, "Same for me."

Jace

She hesitates, and for a moment I doubt what she says. Studying her, I move my hands atop her, repeating myself, "There's gotta be a way."

Rayah

I nod, "I could change you...but I'm not sure if I want to hurt you with that."

Jace

I nod back, "Change me then. As long as we're together."

Rayah

I bite my lip, "Jae..."
