Juliet

I glance around, horrible memories of my mother and father coming back to me...reminding me of how they died. I swallow, remembering that I have to take care of myself, my sister not in my life anymore.

Preston

I sense her tense and rub her arm in comfort, sighing.

Juliet

"Do you live with your parents?" I ask, remembering how I met them years ago, "or are you on your own?"

Preston

I look down at her, "We live in the same building, but they gave me my own apartment, my own floor basically."

Juliet

I nod, looking down as I bite my lip.

Preston

I nod again, "They started getting really mushy about twenty years ago. I left after that..."

Juliet

I chuckle at his wording, "Mushy?"

Preston

I nod, "It was disgusting."

Juliet

I smile, "Wow," I look up at him, "What were they doing?"

Preston

I narrow my eyes at her playfully, "Nasty stuff."

Juliet

"Like...?" I smile, studying him.

Preston

"Indescribable things that have scarred my memory," I say.

Juliet

I smile wider, "Ah..." I face foward, "Love. I remember that. It was...interesting while it lasted."

Preston

I study her, lightly smiling again, "Tell me."

Juliet

I sigh, "I was a senior, human," I start "And I fell in love with a vampire. He changed me then ran off..leaving me like this."
