(Okay, so, Emile and Remy are best friends, they're in highschool and they're total opposites. So it's the middle of the night and Remy shows up outside emiles house, looking pretty traumatized. So Emile let's him in and Emiles parents agree to let Remy stay and then they pretty much live together now, and they get into some ✨ shenanigans ✨ )
It was a rainy night. Remy, clutching his bag, knocked- or rather, banged- at the door. He had nowhere else to go. He had been kicked out by his parents, and his first thought was to go to Emile. So that’s what he did, praying that someone would answer.

Emile was downstairs getting a snack when he heard banging on the door. He didn't exactly know who it was and it kinda scared him. He looked through the peephole thing on the door and saw Remy. He was pretty surprised, and kinds concerned. He unlocked the door and opened it
"Remy? What are you doing here? Did something happen? Are you okay?"
Remy wiped away a few tears. He then went to go get a towel to dry himself off, since he was pretty drenched from the rain. Due to going here so often, he knew where everything was.

Emile wondered why Remy was kicked out. He'd been to his house a few times and his parents seemed nice enough. But he was sure it wasn't Remys fault. Emile didn't want to ask and risk making him even more upset, but he just couldn't stop thinking about it
The parents seemed nice because they were ‘good Christian people’ or whatever. Yes, they’d kicked Remy out for being gay. ...Not the best move on their part, really. Remy sighed as he dried himself off.
“I-It’s fine if I stay in the guest room, right?”
