“Oh… I don’t know. You’d have to ask Myna.” She hesitated, hand still resting over it in her pocket. Did he want one? Should she offer? She didn’t want to… but it felt polite. And she needed to be polite. “…Do you want this one?” She reluctantly pulled it out of her pocket and held it out even though she was all the way across the room.

Gaius stayed where he was, shaking his head. What sort of monster did she think he was? She was the one who was the most in danger; he just wanted one for comfort. "You keep that," he said stiffly. "I'll ask Myna myself."
