Side a and side b meet, they talk for a while, become friends, and eventually they fall in love, blah blah happy ending, maybe throw in some angst)
Logan sighed as he sat in the back of the class. He read his teacher’s lips, trying to understand what she was saying. He was a smart boy, yes, but it was challenging to understand it all. He sighed. Why couldn’t life be easy? Class let out for lunch, and he looked around, seeing all the people talking to each other. Why couldn’t he have friends like that? He sat down by himself. Again.

Virgil had just come from class, the teacher had tried to get him to talk, he didn't, he had detention later. His first day at a new school and he's already in trouble. Just perfect. Why didn't anyone understand? All the tables were full except one person sitting alone. He went over and tapped him on the shoulder
Logan tensed up at the sudden feeling. His head whipped around, and he noticed the boy. He blinked, looking him over. What did he want..? He looked at his lips, prepared to read them.
