"'ey, what're you doin' here, freak?"

"Corolla, back away from the newcomer."

The one named Corolla seems nervous.

"Y-Yes sir."

He backs away to reveal a tall figure, draped in Orange.

Passion looked a bit nervous. But, somehow, that faded a little bit when he saw the orange figure. He gulped softly.

"Um... h-hello..."

"...Corolla?"

"Y-Y-Yes s-sir?"

The Orange figure turned to Corolla, quite angered.

"Why on Earth would you terrorize a light side?!"

Corolla turned and ran as fast as he could. The one in Orange calmed himself and turned back around to face the newcomer.

"Apologies for that, newcomer. I am Jealousy, leader of the dark sides and protector of the mindscraps. May I ask who you are?"

(I'm gonna assume for now that the dark sides haven't left yet, and Virgil is still there)

Passion watched the whole banter. Huh... this guy was standing up for him. It made him feel good inside.

"Uh... I'm Passion. You're right, I am kinda new... would you mind showing me around..?"

(You are correct)

"Of course, Passion. I'll let us take the scenic route to my mansion. If you'd be so kind as to follow me..."

He leads Passion to his mansion. There's not much to see up until the gate.

"Watch out for traps, snakes, and goo."

"Whoa- you have a mansion?! That's so cool!!"

Passion eagerly followed. He looked around everything in awe. At one point, he was distracted, and got his foot caught in a trap.

"Ow-!! -"

Jealousy sighed and helped Passion out of the trap.

Soon enough, they were inside the mansion.

"Boys, I've brought a guest."

Virgil, Janus, and Remus were all busy and bored, but were confused and surprised at the new arrival.

(are they gonna talk? who's taking who?)

(well what do you want to happen?)

Those three just stared at Passion.

"This is Remus, Janus, and Virgil. They're fellow dark sides."

(They can talk, I'll take Virgil)

Virgil raised a brow.

"I've never seen this guy before..."

He looked suspicious.

"Uhh... I dunno..? I feel like I'm a light side..."

Virgil growled.

"...Alright, listen here. We don't tolerate light sides here, so if you'd kindly get out, that'd be great."

"...Oh... um-"

"Virgil, what did i tell you about backseat leadership?"

Jealousy glared at Virgil. No one dared to mess with a being as powerful as the Orange side. Janus and Remus seemed nervous. They spoke in unison to Virgil.

"Virgil, quiet."
"Shut up emo"

Virgil paused. He looked nervous.

"...U-Um, sorry..." he mumbled, to both Passion and Jealousy.

"Oh, uh, it's okay..!"

Passion secretly admired how Jealousy was like this big, strong leader, while the other dark sides were like his minions, almost.

"Feel free to make yourself comfortable. Remus and Virgil would be more than happy to show you around, right boys?"

"U-Uh-"


"Wonderful, I'm glad we understand each other! Off you go now!"

He pulled Janus closer by the arm once the others were gone.

"Don't let the light side out of your sight, got it? I don't trust him."

The half-snake nodded, knowing what would happen if he didn't agree.

After a while, they circled back to Jealousy, perched on his glorious (and quite glamorous) throne.

"Did you enjoy the tour, Passion?"
