S.S Queen’s Holiday Cruise

Chance

I wake a while later, but don't get up, happy where I am.

Katie

I roll over on my other side and lay my head on his arm.

Chance

I open my eyes and smile, yawning.

Katie

I curl up slightly, falling in and out of deep sleep.

Chance

I watch her for a bit before closing my eyes again.

Katie

Chance is in my dreams. I start mummbling things to him, like I love you and things of thatt nature.

Chance

I open my eyes once more and find her dreaming, mumbling sweet things as she does. Smiling, I kiss her forehead and whisper genuine replies back.

Katie

"Please do not leave me. You are my everything." I mummble.

Chance

I frown slightly and kiss her cheek, "I won't leave you. Not ever. You're my everything too."

Katie

I my dream he vanishes. Tears begin to swell in my eye and I bite my lip, everything feeling real.

Chance

I tighten my grip around her and kiss her quickly, resting my forehead against hers, "I'm here, baby. Wake up."

Katie

I open my eyes and see him there. I wrap my arms around him tightly, not letting him go.

Chance

I keep my arms around her and run a hand through her hair, "S'alright, K. I'm right here."

Katie

I nod and look at him. "Thank god you are." I say.

Chance

I nod and kiss her nose, "It was just a dream. I'll always be here."
