I smile and follow her, nodding at Jackie in greeting and finding something painstakingly different about Nic. His aura almost hurts me, the look in his eyes scaring me.

Oh great. More of an audience. I nod at the two and keep my hands in my pockets.
"Why didn't you answer my text?" the guy, whose name I can't remember, asks.
"Phone's off," I lie, shrugging again.

I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I study Nic before nodding and looking at Jackie, "Hey."
She bites her lip, sighing, before looking foward. I playfully pinch her side and she smiles, sending a small gust of light towards me. It sends me a few steps away and I chuckle, shaking my head.
,,,,,,,,,,, Jackie
After I push her away, I turn foward and get us tickets.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I text Nic and watch the one with Jackie as I get a response, noticing that he doesn't even have his phone out. Texting him to get here, I smile at Rayah from the stands before teleporting outside the gates in wait of my brother.

I smile back, though it feels somewhat unnatural, and wonder if things are really this easy with her.

You got rid of them. Yes, that's just like you. Getting rid of everything unpleasant instead of learning to put up with it. — Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
