Lucian

I look at her and slowly smile back, snapping out of my thoughts and nodding, "I-I think so."

Halee

I study him, "You think so?"

Lucian

I hesitate before nodding.

Halee

I look at him, "I'm really worried...you hesitated," I shake my head, sitting up and taking my face in my hands, "I can't take this anymore."

Lucian

I study her, only partially hearing what she says, "Y-you need to feed. Feed from me, Hales."

Halee

I shake my head, face still buried in my face, "No."

Lucian

"But... you need to," I say, watching her.

Halee

I run a hand through my hair and rest my chin on my hands, "But I'm not."

Lucian

I rest my forehead against hers, "How do you expect me to get better if I'm worried about you?"

Halee

I sigh, "How do you expect me to drink when I'm worried about you?"

Lucian

I purse my lips and close my eyes for a moment, "By respecting your needs."

Halee

I shake my head, "I'm not drinking."

Lucian

"Y-you can't do this to me, Halee," I sigh.

Halee

I swallow, "I can last without it."

Lucian

I pull away and sit back, "You're so stubborn. I-I'm trying to help you..."
