Jackie

I come back with two packs of Ice and put one right below his eye and the other underneath his chin where he also got hit.

Nic

Jace leaves and I flash a smile at Jackie, watching her, "I love you. So much."

Jackie

I smile at him and shrug, "I'm just helping."

Nic

I smile again at her, "I know. I still love you though."

Jackie

I study him and smile, "Love you too."

Nic

I sit on the couch and continue watching her, wondering whether the apprenticing job was the best thing as I do.

Jackie


I hold the ice packs on him and sigh, "I hope you don't look like this for the interview..."

Nic

I flash a smile, "Me too. I-I have a question though. W-what do you think I'd be good at? What do you think I should do?"

Jackie

I shrug, "I don't know. Lifting things?" I smile, "Your strong."

Nic

I flash a smile and sigh, "Like... a career."

Jackie

I think, "Um...an messenger?"

Nic

I think about it, "Maybe. I don't know if that would mean I'd travel a lot though."

Jackie

I frown, "You'll figure something out. And when you get back...I'd do the same thing I did to you last night. Every time your away for a long time. I'll be happy your back."

Nic

I flash a smile, "You are amazing, Jacks."

Jackie

I look at him, "Why?"
