Rayah

I sigh and lean against the coffee table, Jackie curling up on one of the reclining chairs.

Jace

I hesitate before curling up on the floor and closing my eyes.

Rayah

I close my eyes, falling asleep.

Jace

I fall asleep minutes later, only to be awoken by Nic kicking me in the head. Sitting up, I slap the back of his neck and chuckle as he jumps up and looks around. He glares at me a few moments before burying his face back in the couch and falling back asleep.

Rayah

I wake, Jackie already up and on her phone. I check the time and swear, standing, "I have to go."

"Where?" she asks, looking up at me.

"A party," I look around to my phone.

"On a school night?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you should come," I look under the couch.

Jace

I watch everything, Nic waking and stretching.

"Ooh! A party?" he sits up, "Where?"

"I'm not going to a party, Nic," I mumble.

He just kicks me again.

Rayah

"My friends place," I look at Jackie, "Please come."

She sighs, "Why would I? We have to study and..."

"loosen up for once," I snap, "Your a freaking teenager."

She shrugs and looks down. I bite my lip, "Scotty is gonna be there."

She looks up, "What?"

"Scotty..."

She stands and heads upstairs to change, "I shall go then."

Works every time...

Jace

Nic sighs and looks at me, fixing his eyes. Glaring, I groan and give in, standing.

"Fine," I tell him, "But I'm not--"

"Drinking? Hey, if there's booze there, you are so getting wasted," he chuckles, standing as well, "There's a first time for everything and you are way past due for your first drink."

Rayah

I look at Jace, flashing a smile and clapping. Jackie comes back down, wearing booty shorts and a tank top, her hair in a loose braid with high heels. She smiles at us and opens the door, "C'mon then."

Jace

Nic slings an arm over my shoulders in a brotherly way and leads me out as I shake my head.

Rayah

I lead us there and smile when we do, the place booming with lights and music. A bar sits in the back, and people crowd it. I look at Jackie, "Dont f*ck any guys tonight."

She shrugs, biting her lip, "Can't make any promises..."

I shake my head at her and walk in, watching her. When it comes to parties...I always have to watch over her...

Jace

Nic pulls me straight to the bar and orders two drinks, one for him and one for me.

"Let's go, brother!" he chuckles, tapping his glass to mine, "Woo!"

He downs his drink and I hesitate before doing the same, coughing at the taste afterwards.

Rayah

I grab Jackie's wrist and pull her to the bar, her eyes wondering around, "Where...Where's Scotty?"

"Canada," I chuckle.

She slaps me and goes into the crowd, me just standing there before I sit beside Jace and Nic.

Jace

Nic downs four more before patting my head and disappearing into the crowd, sliding one more to me. I hesitate before swallowing it down and looking around, noticing that Rayah's at my side.

"Do me a favor?" I flash a smile, "Don't let me do anything too stupid, please."

Rayah

I smile and nod, "Can't promise you anything...but whatever."

I take a deep breath and plop on the couch, taking out my phone as I glance at the dancing people around me.

Scotty isn't here...
