I bite my bottom lip and smile back at him, staying silent.

It stays quiet for a little and I paint the wall with great concentration, very aware of the way she bites her lip. I hesitate before splattering paint in her direction, wanting a little fun.
I'm never what I like
I'm double sided
And I just can't hide
I kind of like it
When I make you cry
'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up
Inside

Semiautomatic

He splatters paint in my direction and I freeze, looking over at him playfully before wiping it off my arm. I smile and keep biting my lip, smiling before splattering paint back at him.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!

I smile and chuckle a little, dipping my hand in the paint and tracing a finger down her cheek.
I'm never what I like
I'm double sided
And I just can't hide
I kind of like it
When I make you cry
'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up

I chuckle and dip a hand in the paint as well, setting that one over his lips with a smile.

I chuckle and smear the rest of the paint over her face and in her hair.

I'm double sided

I laugh with and smile before slipping and falling into a tray of paint, pulling her with me.
I'm never what I like
I'm double sided
And I just can't hide

He pulls me down into a yay of paint and I scream, laughing at the same time as I try to get out of his grip.

I laugh with and let her go, trying to get up. I find I can't and laugh a little harder, looking at her, "Holy crap... I think I'm stuck."

I shrug, still covered in paint head to toe, "Have no idea."

I try to get up again and somehow manage it, the tray stuck to my behind. Laughing, I shake my head and free myself from it, holding out a paint covered pair of hands to help Whitney up.

He helps me up and I chuckle, standing and trying to wipe myself off. Failing epicly, I shake my head, smiling at him.

It is only a novel... or, in short, only some work in which the greatest powers of the mind are displayed, in which the most thorough knowledge of human nature, the happiest delineation of its varieties, the liveliest effusions of wit and humour, are conveyed to the world in the best-chosen language
— Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey
